At Breiner, we can’t do what we do without the skilled people who measure and cut our materials or who operate our machines. We wanted to give you an inside look at the people who work on the shop floor. Today, we introduce you to Angie Alderman. Angie is originally from Lake Ozark, Missouri. She moved to Indianapolis in 2018 and started at Breiner on a part-time basis before becoming a full member of the team. Let’s get to know Angie a bit better:

What is your role at Breiner?

My current role is a production worker, but that looks a lot different for me than to other coworkers. I have two main priorities that I take lead on: first is Toyota orders and second is the new part process. For Toyota, I take care of all the orders from start (raw material), to finish (parts in bins on a skid ready for shipment). The new part process is a way for us to have a consistent and reliable way to validate new parts for new and existing customers.

What makes Breiner a special place to work?

Breiner is not like other places I’ve worked, and I believe it starts with the people who work here and the history of the company. Being part of a family-owned business makes the employees feel cared for. Our managers want to help us grow as individuals, so we can grow as a team, and that is so important. I love to see how adaptable this small crew can be, the ideas that we may come up with, and what we can accomplish.

What do you wish more people knew about flash cutting, rapid prototyping, and Breiner’s services?

I wish people knew more about how we can take this raw roll of material and make it into so many different shapes or sizes that go to so many great places, with such a quick turnaround.

How does Breiner and your specific role help customers succeed?

Breiner’s culture is all about adapting. These times have been frustrating and difficult, but as a team we still can accomplish so much. It’s great to see how willing we all are to try new ways, learn, and push through, to ship out orders. These are the reasons why our customers succeed.

What do you like to do outside of work?

In my spare time, I enjoy playing with my dog, Jaxon, and I occasionally have other dogs over, too. I love to spend time outside, listen to music, sing, make art, and cook.

We’re very proud of Angie and everyone on the Breiner team! Everyone here is extremely committed to our customers’ success and we pride ourselves on meeting and exceeding their needs. For more about Breiner and our services, contact us today!
